Lacoste Limited Edition – Crocodile Mythology Collection
The Lacoste brand and the crocodile will be forever linked together in the fashion world. In order to signify that connection Lacoste will be releasing the Lacoste Limited Edition Crocodile Mythology Collection. The connection began back in 1925 when Rene Lacoste, the founder of the brand, made a bet with Pierre Gillou, the French Davis Team Captain, with the prize being a crocodile skin suitcase that Rene had spotted in the shops of Boston
Nike SB P-Rod III (3) Video
For those who aren’t completely sold on the third sneaker of Nike SB skateboarder Paul “P-Rod” Rodriguez, check out the video of the shoes being put to work. The P-Rod III (3) is set to release this Fall made up of a black and red colorway with a tiled design on the front and back heel of the sneaker. The upcoming P-Rod 3 looks to be composed of a suede base and leather on the swoosh.

V počátcích firmy Nike, když se ještě jmenovala Blue Ribbon Sports, si její zakladatel Phil Knight potřeboval do začátku podnikání přivydělat, a tak přednášel účetnictví na Portlandské státní univerzitě. V roce 1971 zde potkal studentku designu Carolyn Davidson a nabídl jí, jestli by si nechtěla přivydělat prací pro jeho malou firmu.
„Zástupci z Japonska měli přijet na prezentaci a Phil jim potřeboval ukázat nějaké grafy a tabulky“, říká po letech Carolyn. „Tak jsem pro něj párkrát udělala nějakou zakázku a on jednoho dne přišel a ptal se, jestli nechci pracovat na něčem větším.“
